The fine print, in plain words

What happens
to your answers

Your feature is yours to check first. Nothing publishes without your say-so.
Venues you name appear on the public map, credited to the community rather than to you.
Your answers are also counted anonymously into aggregate industry reporting.
You're never quoted or identified in that reporting without asking you separately.
Your email is used to contact you about your feature. It isn't sold or shared.

Why the aggregate bit matters Counting a thousand answers together shows what Scottish diners are moving towards long before it reaches menus. Suppliers and operators use that. Your individual answers stay yours — only the totals travel.
